Alice Through The Looking Glass – Mia Wasikowska Interview (Transcrição)
1 – So when we first see Alice at the beginning of this film, she’s been travelling for the last three years through China and all over the world. So she’s just arriving back in London and she’s been a Sea Captain so she’s full of, kind of, inspiration and confidence and excitement and then she comes back and things have changed with her family situation and she ends of up kind of, being lured back to Wonderland by the friends in Wonderland and she realises that the Hatter’s unwell and they’ve called her back to try and help her, help him, kind of, return to his true self. So it’s sort of a plight to save the Hatter and they don’t really know what’s wrong with him or why he’s not himself.
2 – Sacha Baron Cohen plays Time and again, he kind of put his, completely his own spin on the character, he’s this… the dynamic between Alice and Time is quite funny because he’s very pompous and very full of himself and grand but at the same time everything he says is completely nonsensical and Alice, I think is maybe one of the few people who kind of calls him up on his ridiculous way of, kind of, talking and so it’s quite a fun dynamic. And then Sacha’s really just so smart about yeah, putting his own, sort of twist on the character and his own jokes in there and, you don’t quite know what to expect because he just will go off on a tangent which he’s kind of improvising himself.
3 – I think Alice is a great character. She’s very much her own person and very comfortable with who she is and quite a bit more confident in this film having spent a few years over…you know, travelling around and being in charge of a ship and crew members, it’s evident that she’s kind of gained a lot more confidence in her own sort of decisions and opinions and character. And it’s nice to play somebody like that. She doesn’t let any of the characters kind of push her around and, you know, specifically in the relationship with Time and the Red Queen, she’s sort of less fearful I guess which is nice.
Alice Através do Espelho – Entrevista Com Mia Wasikowska (Tradução)
1 – Então, quando nós vemos Alice pela primeira vez no começo deste filme, ela esteve viajando pelos últimos três anos pela China e por todo o mundo. Então ela acaba de chegar de volta em Londres e ela foi uma Capitã no Mar então ela está cheia de, meio que, inspiração e confiança e empolgação e então ela volta e as coisas mudaram com a situação de sua família e ela acaba meio que, sendo atraída de volta para o País das Maravilhas pelos amigos no País das Maravilhas e ela percebe que o Chapeleiro está doente e eles a chamaram de volta para tentar ajudá-la, ajudá-lo, meio que, voltar a ser ele mesmo. 2 – Sacha Baron Cohen interpreta o Tempo e de novo, ele meio que coloca seu, completamente seu próprio jeito no personagem, ele é este… a dinâmica entre a Alice e o Tempo é bem engraçada porque ele é muito pomposo e muito cheio de si e vaidoso, mas ao mesmo tempo tudo que ele diz é completamente sem sentido e a Alice, eu acho, é talvez uma das poucas pessoas que meio que chamam a atenção dele sobre seu jeito ridículo de, tipo, falar. E então é uma dinâmica muito divertida. E então Sacha é simplesmente tão sábio em, colocar seu próprio, tipo de interpretação no personagem e suas próprias piadas dentro disso e, você não sabe exatamente o que esperar porque ele irá simplesmente sair do roteiro, onde eles está meio que improvisando.
3 – Eu acho que a Alice é uma ótima personagem. Ela é muito ela mesma e muito confortável com que ela é e bem mais confiante nesse filme tendo passado alguns anos…sabe, viajando por aí estando no comando de um navio e de uma tripulação, é evidente que ela meio que ganhou muito mais confiança em seus próprios tipos de decisões e opiniões e caráter. E é legal interpretar alguém desse jeito. Ela não deixa nenhum dos personagens, tipo, mandar nela e, sabe, especificamente na relação dela com o Tempo e a Rainha Vermelha, ela está meio que menos medrosa eu acho, o que é bom.
